The auction company will help load a truck. It will not load a container — that is in the terms — and that is where most international buyers find out they have a problem. Our yard is in central Iowa, an hour from Des Moines, in the middle of the auction country you just bought in.

In writing — one business day
The pickup clock is the real deadline.
Pickup deadlines run out fast, and what happens after them is the auction company’s rules, not yours. Arranging a container, a chassis, a truck and a crew from another country inside that window is the part nobody quotes you for.
We take the machine off that clock. Send the lot and the destination and we collect it, receive it into our yard, and hold it there while your forwarder books the sailing.
What we need to quote you.
Four things. Send them before you bid and you will know what the packing costs before you commit at the sale.
- The lot link, or the make, model and year of the machine.
- Where it is now — the auction yard, city and state.
- The destination country or port.
- When the pickup window closes.
That is enough for a flat price, in writing, within one business day.
You are buying a machine you have not stood next to.
So is your customer, if you are reselling it. That is why the documentation pack is not an extra: timestamped photos and video of every teardown stage, the packing list, and the reassembly map are what stand in for standing next to the machine.
Nothing is cut, torched or made to fit. If a machine does not fit disassembled, we quote a flat rack or an open top instead — and we say so before you pay for anything.

- Yes — send the lot link, where the machine is, the destination, and when the pickup window closes. You will know the packing cost before you commit at the sale.
- Can you work inside my auction pickup window?
- That is the job. We collect the machine before the deadline and hold it at the yard while your forwarder books the sailing.
- Who books the ocean freight?
- Your freight forwarder books the sailing and files the export documents as usual — we hand over a loaded, secured, documented container. Need a forwarder? We'll refer one for your lane.
