Terms of service

Terms of service

This page summarizes M-Farm's standard terms of service for parts orders and export packing services. Where a signed contract, purchase order, or invoice carries different terms for a specific order, those terms govern.

Quotes

Quoted prices are valid for 14 days from the date issued, subject to part availability and final confirmation before order acceptance.

Export packing services — storage

An initial period of yard storage is included with every packing job. Storage beyond the included period is billed at the rate confirmed in your quote.

Liability

Our liability for loss of or damage to equipment in our care, custody, or control at the Albion yard is limited to the extent of our confirmed cargo/bailee insurance coverage in place at the time of service. We recommend the customer or their freight forwarder arrange supplemental cargo insurance for the full replacement value of the shipment — M-Farm is not an insurer and does not guarantee coverage beyond our own policy limits.

Export filing (USPPI/EEI)

For export packing services, the customer or their designated freight forwarder acts as the U.S. Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) and is responsible for filing Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the Automated Export System (AES). M-Farm and Meridian Freight do not file EEI on behalf of service customers.

General

These terms may be updated from time to time; the version in effect when you place your order applies. Contact us before ordering if anything here is unclear.
